Display Settings

Customize how SmartMixin looks and behaves on your screen. Some display settings are available on both mobile and webapp, while others are exclusive to the mobile app.

Accessing Display Settings

Mobile: Go to Settings > Display
Webapp: Go to Settings > Preferences > Display

Theme (Mobile Only)

Choose the visual appearance of the app. Three options are available:

System: Automatically follows your device's light or dark mode setting
Light: Always uses the light theme
Dark: Always uses the dark theme

This setting is only available in the mobile app. The webapp follows your browser or operating system preference automatically.

Chart Gestures (Mobile Only)

Toggle this option to enable or disable pinch-to-zoom and pan gestures on charts. When enabled, you can zoom in on chart data by pinching and scroll through time periods by panning left or right.

If you find that chart gestures interfere with scrolling through your dashboard, you can turn them off here.

Small Decimals

When enabled, decimal places are displayed in a more compact way throughout the app. This gives your dashboard a cleaner look while still showing precise values.

This setting is available on both the mobile app and the webapp.

Wind Direction Convention

Choose how wind direction arrows are drawn across SmartMixin:

Flow direction (default): The arrow points to where the wind is blowing to (oceanographic convention). A north wind — which moves toward the south — appears as a southward arrow.
Origin direction: The arrow points to where the wind is coming from (meteorological convention). A north wind appears as a northward arrow.

Pick the convention that matches your background. Flow direction is selected by default.
