Setting Up Ecowitt Weather Station

This guide will help you connect your Ecowitt Weather Station to SmartMixin.

Prerequisites

• An Ecowitt weather station connected to the Ecowitt cloud
• Your Ecowitt API credentials (API Key and Application Key)

Getting Your API Credentials

1. Log in to ecowitt.net
2. Navigate to Settings > API
3. Generate or view your API Key and Application Key
4. Copy these values for use in SmartMixin

Connection Steps

1. Go to Settings > Services > Ecowitt

2. Click Connect

3. Enter your API Key and Application Key

   

4. Click Save

5. Your stations will be automatically detected

   

In the mobile app, choose Add your own station from the menu, then Ecowitt:

Available Data

Ecowitt stations can provide:

• Temperature
• Humidity
• Barometric pressure
• Wind speed and direction
• Rain measurements
• UV index
• Solar radiation
• Soil moisture (if sensors connected)

Troubleshooting

If your station isn't appearing:

• Verify your API credentials are correct
• Ensure your station is online in the Ecowitt app
• Check that your station is syncing to the Ecowitt cloud
