My weather — your stations and places in one list
My weather is the one list of everything you follow: your own stations, the stations and places you saved as favorites, and the weather where you are. You don't need an account to use it.
What's in the List
Link to this sectionMy weather shows these sections, in this order:
- My stations: the stations connected to your own account, when you have some
- Current location: the weather where you are right now
- Favorites: the stations and places you saved, in your order. You can keep up to 5 favorite places
- Recent: the places you opened lately (mobile app only)
Each station shows its latest readings, and each place shows the weather for the current hour. A station with an official weather warning shows a small chip next to its name. See Official Weather Warnings.
Opening My weather
Link to this sectionClick My weather in the side menu, or in the bar at the top of the page when you're not signed in. On a phone, it's also at the bottom of the screen.
Finding a Place or a Station
Link to this sectionType at least three letters in the search field: towns and places come first, then the stations with that name. To list the stations around you instead, tap or click the location button in the empty field.
Open a result to see its weather, then save it as a favorite from its star or its + button. See Weather Forecasts in SmartMixin for saving a place.
Rearranging the List
Link to this section- To remove a favorite, click its star in My weather. A message lets you undo it
- To reorder or hide your stations, click the gear icon at the top of My weather to open Modify favorite stations. This needs you to be signed in
Your own stations stay at the top, in their own order. Favorite stations and places share one order.
On All Your Devices
Link to this sectionWhen you're signed in, your favorite places and the order of My weather follow your account, so the list looks the same on your phone and on the web. Without an account, everything stays on the device you're using.
