Choosing Your Netatmo Dashboard Layout

Your Netatmo dashboard comes in two layouts, and you can switch between them at any time. Both show exactly the same measurements — only the arrangement changes.

The two layouts

	Card list	Classic

Card list is the default. If you own an outdoor module, a wind gauge and a rain gauge, all three are on the same scroll instead of behind a swipe.

How to switch

You can also switch from the dashboard itself: open the menu in the top-right corner and tap Switch to Classic (or Switch to Card list). Your choice applies to every Netatmo station on this device.

What a module card shows

Each card carries one physical module:

• The current reading, with its trend arrow
• Today's highest and lowest, each with the time it happened
• The module's other measurements — humidity, pressure, CO2 or noise, depending on the module
• A health line: the battery percentage, the signal strength, and when the module last reported

In Card list, your outdoor, wind and rain modules each carry their own colour, so you can tell them apart without reading the names. Classic shows that colour on the tabs instead, since only one of those modules is on screen at a time.

Checking a module's health

The health line at the bottom of each card is the quickest way to see why a reading looks wrong.

What you see	What it means
A percentage	The module's remaining battery
An amber battery and a warning symbol	20% or less — order replacements
Signal bars	How strong the radio link is — fuller bars are better, and empty bars mean the module did not report it
Not reachable	The base station has lost the radio link to this module
"x minutes ago"	When this module last reported

Tip: A module showing Not reachable has usually lost its radio link, not its battery. Moving it closer to the base station, or away from thick walls and large metal objects, normally restores it. The card keeps showing the last values it received so you can see how long ago that was.

In the Classic layout only one module is on screen at a time, so any other module that needs looking at carries a small amber dot on its tab.

On a tablet

A tablet shows your cards and a chart side by side. Tapping a measurement on a card draws it in the chart, and in Card list the highlighted card is the one the chart is showing — feels-like is the exception, since tapping that switches it to the dew point instead. Held upright, a large tablet puts your outdoor modules on the left and your indoor ones on the right with the chart underneath; a smaller one stacks everything in a single column.

Both layouts work on a tablet, and the chart keeps its place either way. Classic puts its two panes — outdoor and indoor — where the card list would go: stacked in the left-hand column in landscape, and side by side above the chart when you hold the tablet upright and there is room for both. In Classic the chart follows the card you are looking at, so switching a pane to another module redraws it.

Air quality wording

Indoor cards describe the CO2 reading in words as well as a number:

Reading	Wording
Below 800 ppm	Fresh
800 to 1350 ppm	Getting stale
Above 1350 ppm	Stale

A room that reaches Stale simply needs airing — open a window for a few minutes and the reading falls quickly.
